London Launch Party for Knit Play Colour and Yarn Tamer KAL Kicks Off

Hello! Hello! Things have slowly but surely getting back to normal here and it seems like the franking machine and I may have made friends at last. The next batch of orders of Knit Play Colour went to the post office today so they should be with you soon!

Anna Feldman and Wild & Woolly

Anna is ready to welcome you at Wild & Woolly!

If you’ve been waiting for the chance to get your copy of the book from a yarn shop local to you, or to see the samples in person then I’ve got another chance for you to do so. I’m very happy to announce that Anna from Wild & Woolly will not only be carrying Knit Play Colour but hosting a launch party for it as well. And the party is this Saturday, 10th October!

I’ll be on hand in the shop from 2-5pm with many of the samples and Anna will have copies of the book. Knowing Anna, there may be cake involved as well! (I’m making apricot & almond flapjack – I am liable to bake off-piste as well as knit off-piste sometimes.)

We’ve also kicked off the Yarn Tamer KAL on the Inspiration Knits board and it’s been fabulous seeing everyone share photos of their yarn pairings. Yarn porn indeed! Lyndsey from Countess Ablaze (today’s stop on the blog tour!) and Sarah from Crafts from the Cwtch (who takes a turn on the blog tour next week) are also taking part. Don’t forget to use the tag #yarntamerkal on Instagram so that everyone can see your yarn choices! My own striped version is working up steadily in the Eden Cottage Yarns yarnlings I picked up at Yarndale and I love how it’s turning out.

If it’s new yarn you fancy I’ll happily help you with yarn suggestions and colour choices for your own Yarn Tamer – or for any of the projects in the book. Anna has some lovely, amazing UK wools in her selection as well – in case you’re feeling particularly inspired by Wool Week this week! Anna also carries the wonderful West Yorkshire Spinners aran yarn which was swatched with for the Shadowlines wrap. The stitch definition is fabulous!

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday! xx
